Privacy Policy

What we collect

• Your name, email address and profile photo from your Google account, when you sign in.
• What you enter: transactions, accounts, budgets, categories, tags, notes and receipt photos.
• How you use the app: screens and features used, and crash reports, along with your device model and app version.
• Khajane Coins activity: check-ins, milestones, redemptions, and who invited whom if you use a referral code or link.
• Your device's advertising ID, if you see ads.

How we use it

To run the app, back up your data so you can restore it on a new or reinstalled phone, award Khajane Coins and referral rewards (and prevent abuse of them), fix bugs and improve Khajane, and show ads on the free plan. Your amounts, notes, and the names of your accounts, categories and tags are never used for analytics or ads.

Who we share it with

We don't sell your data. We use trusted service providers to run the app:

• Google — sign-in, secure cloud backup, usage and crash reports, ads, and payments for Premium. We never see your card details — we only receive confirmation of your subscription, which we link to your Khajane account.
• Cloudinary — stores receipt photos you choose to attach.
• Google Drive — only if you choose to back up there.

Each provider handles data under its own privacy policy: Google and Cloudinary.

Your choices

• Turn off usage and crash reports in Settings → Privacy.
• Go Premium to remove ads.
• Save a copy of your data to your phone or Google Drive at any time from More → Backup. Backup files are encrypted and can only be restored by signing in to your Khajane account.

Deleting your data

Delete your account and all of your data at any time from More → Delete account in the app — this also deletes your receipt photos. A photo you remove from a transaction, or a transaction you delete, takes its photos with it. A backup you saved to your phone or Google Drive is yours to delete. You can also request deletion without the app.

Children

Khajane is not intended for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their data.
