Terms of Service

The short version

Khajane is made by RC Insights ("we", "us"). By signing in and using the app you agree to these terms and to our privacy policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the app. You can delete your account at any time.

Your account

• You sign in with your Google account. Keep that account secure — anyone who can sign in to it can see your Khajane data.
• An account is for one person. Don't use someone else's account or create accounts to collect extra coins or referral rewards.
• You must be at least 13 years old, and old enough under the law where you live to agree to these terms. If you buy Premium, you must be allowed to make purchases on Google Play.

Your data

• What you enter in Khajane is yours. We only use it to run the app, as described in the privacy policy.
• Your data is saved on your phone and backed up to your Khajane account automatically. We work hard to keep it safe, but no service is perfect — you can also save your own backup to your phone or Google Drive from More → Backup at any time.
• Deleting your account deletes your data permanently. It can't be brought back afterwards.

Khajane Premium

• Premium is an optional subscription, sold and billed by Google Play. The price is shown in the app and on Google Play before you buy.
• It renews automatically at the end of each month or year until you cancel. Cancel any time in the Google Play Store under Payments & subscriptions; you keep Premium until the end of the period you've paid for.
• Refunds follow Google Play's refund policy. For a problem with a purchase, write to us and we'll help.
• Premium belongs to your Khajane account, so it works on any phone you sign in to with that account.
• If Premium ends, nothing you created is deleted or hidden. You can still see, edit and delete it; only adding more of the Premium-only items (and a few Premium settings, like app lock) stops.
• We may change Premium's price or features. A price change for an existing subscription follows Google Play's rules, which include telling you before it applies.

Khajane Coins

Coins are a free reward for using the app. They have no cash value and can't be bought, sold, transferred or exchanged for money. The full rules are on How coins work. Coins or Premium gained through fake accounts, fake referrals or other abuse may be removed.

Using Khajane fairly

Please don't:

• break the law with the app, or store anything in it you don't have the right to;
• try to get into other people's data, our servers or our systems, or overload them;
• copy, modify, reverse engineer or resell the app, except where the law allows it;
• game coins, referrals or Premium in ways they weren't meant to work.

If someone does, we may suspend or close their account.

Not financial advice

Khajane helps you record and understand your own money. Its budgets, predictions, insights and reminders are based on what you enter and are for your information only — they aren't financial, tax or legal advice. Khajane doesn't connect to your bank, and balances in the app are only as accurate as what you've entered.

The app as it is

• We keep improving Khajane and may add, change or remove features. Sometimes it may be unavailable for a while, for example during updates or if a service we rely on is down.
• Khajane is provided "as is". As far as the law allows, we aren't responsible for indirect losses, or for losses caused by mistakes in what was entered, missed reminders, or data lost on a device. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that can't be excluded.

Ending things

You can stop using Khajane and delete your account at any time from More → Delete account, or by request. Deleting your account doesn't cancel a Premium subscription — cancel that in Google Play. If we ever close Khajane, we'll give you notice in the app first so you can save a copy of your data.

Changes & contact

If these terms change, we'll update the date at the top of this page and, for important changes, let you know in the app. Using Khajane after a change means you accept the new terms. These terms are governed by the laws of India.
